Wine and Spirits Competition at the IREO of Richemont.
Four categories: Vins de Pays Charentais (Charente Wines) Cognacs VSOP and XO, pineaux (whites and roses, old and very old; and finally and Borderies new spirits ,vintage 2006.

I participated in the "Cognacs"tasting: a score of VSOPs and another of XOs were
presented all coming from Borderies.

Blind tasting;we were not given the participants’names. We were only given the names of the winners after the end of the asting. The jury was a little bit
disappointed this year by the XOs, which seemed younger than the VSOPs presented he same day.Thus, no gold medals was given to the XOs this year

The winners:

• VSOP: Gold- EARL Courtin from Sireuil; Silver- GAEC Bel Ange from Echebrune; Bronze- Pascal Roussille from Linars

• XO : Silver-Jacky Navarre de Gondeville; Bronze -GAEC Lablanche à Chadenac
